Fair Trial und Waffengleichheit sind durch den Vorsprung der polizeilichen Ermittlung im Bereich der Verarbeitung digitaler Beweise weiter in Gefahr und es besteht eine Abhängigkeit der Verteidigung von der Sachherrschaft bei der digitalen Informationsverarbeitung im Erkenntnisverfahren.
Strafverteidiger*innen stehen vor der Frage, Kompetenzen auch bei der Anwendung computer-gestützter Methoden der Beweisauswertung zu erlangen und die neue Art, mit Hard- und Software zu Lesen und zu Schreiben in bestimmten Grenzen auch mit Blick auf digitale Falldaten zu erlernen. Nachdem Modul 1 die Grundlagen und den großen Rahmen der Digitalisierung in der Strafjustiz vorgestellt und Modul 2 in einer Reihe von Einzelthemen ein anwendungsbereites Verständnis vermittelt hat bietet Modul 3 nun eine Reihe von Webinaren an, in denen verschiedene Software-Tools in der praktischen Anwendung auch mit eigenen Falldaten trainiert werden. Teilnehmer*innen sollen nach dem Absolvieren der verschiedenen Anwendungsstufen eigenständig in der Lage sein, digitale Beweise auszuwerten.
